Trading journal

Every trade, reviewed.

An optional journal inside your platform. Every closed trade counts in it without a step, and a playbook with rules, a page per day, a replay of each trade and reports on eleven cuts turn a record of trades into a better way to trade. One switch turns it on or off for your whole firm.

What the journal does, one part at a time.

01

Trades arrive by themselves

Every trade that closes on your platform counts in the journal's figures at once, with nothing to copy or upload. A trader who switches on auto capture also gets each trade filed in their trade list the moment it closes, with the candles around it saved for the replay. Earlier trades come in with one button.

  • Dashboard, calendar and reports count every closed trade, journaled or not
  • Auto capture, a switch in the trader's own settings
  • The whole history imported in one go, never twice
  • A trade list to search, filter, sort and file in bulk

One slice, every screen

At the top of every journal screen a trader picks which accounts count and over which dates, once. The dashboard, the trades, the reports, the playbook and the progress all answer for that same slice, so two screens never disagree about the same question. The choice is kept while they move between screens.

  • Any set of accounts, failed and passed ones included
  • This month, 30 or 90 days, the year so far, all time, or two dates
  • Days counted in your firm's timezone
  • In the standard design, accounts on other platforms in the same list

A dashboard that reads in one look

Net P&L, the share of winning days, the share of winning trades and the profit factor sit as the tabs of one chart, each opening the view that explains it. Beside them the edge score, a month calendar with weekly totals that opens each day, and the latest trades next to the positions still open.

  • Net P&L over a cumulative curve
  • Winning days as a bar per day
  • Winning trades as dots by the hour they opened
  • Profit factor beside the gross profit and loss it comes from

The result after every trading day.

04

An edge score on six axes

Six things a consistent trader gets right, each scored from 0 to 100 against a bar that never moves, so a score means the same thing next month. The edge score is their average. It carries no name of ours: your traders only ever see your brand.

  • Win rate, profit factor and average win against loss
  • Max drawdown and the recovery factor that follows it
  • Consistency: how little the best day carries
  • Followed week by week on the progress screen

A page per trade, with a replay

Every trade opens on a page of its own. The candles around it play back bar by bar with the entry, the exit, the stop and the target drawn in, at a timeframe picked to fit the trade. Next to it the figures a trader asks first, the fills that closed it, and the journal: strategy, rules, tags, mood, confidence and notes, saved together.

  • From one-minute bars for a scalp to daily bars for a swing
  • Played at 1, 2, 4 or 8 times speed

A playbook with rules

A trader writes down the strategies they trade: what to look for, the timeframes, what has to line up, and the rules they promise to keep, grouped as entry, exit and management. Every trade filed under a strategy gets those rules as a checklist, and the playbook counts how often each one was really followed.

  • A colour, a description, timeframes and confluences per strategy
  • Rules added, reordered and removed, ticked as followed or broken
  • Trades, win rate, net P&L and rules followed per strategy
  • Archived strategies keep their history

A plan before, a review after

Every day has a page. Before the session the trader writes a plan, after it a review and how the day felt. The page holds the day's numbers, its trades and its notes, and points out what is missing. The dashboard calendar marks the days that were written up, and a button opens today.

  • Plan and review side by side, saved together
  • A warning for a day without a plan, or with trades and no review
  • Free notes in a notebook, searchable, with pinned notes on top
  • The previous and next day with something in it

Reports on eleven cuts

The same trades, cut one way at a time, to find where the edge is and where it leaks. Every cut lists its slices with trades, win rate, net P&L, profit factor, expectancy, average win and loss, and the best and worst trade, and says which slice was strongest and which was weakest.

  • Day of week, hour, symbol, side, duration and month
  • Strategy, tag, mood, confidence and lot size

Goals, streaks and the score by week

A goal is one number over one week or month, with a bar that fills as the period runs. Some are a target to reach, some a cap to stay under. Beside them the streaks of reviewed days and green days, and under them the edge score week by week over the last twelve weeks.

  • Net P&L, win rate, rules followed and days reviewed to reach
  • Trades and losing days as a cap, flagged once it is crossed
  • Current and best streaks of reviewed and green days
  • Goals paused and resumed without losing them

Trades made elsewhere count too

Traders also trade on MetaTrader, an exchange or another firm. In the standard design they add an account for that platform and type a closed trade in, or drop a screenshot of one trade or a whole history page. The AI fills in the form and marks what it was unsure of. Nothing is saved until the trader has checked it.

  • Fourteen platforms by name, from MetaTrader 4 to Hyperliquid, and any other
  • A trade already in the journal is spotted and left unticked
  • Counted in every journal screen, never in payouts, rules or leaderboards
  • You set the screenshot reads per trader per day, from 0 to 200

Questions

Questions about the journal

Yes, with one switch under Platform features. Off takes it out of your traders' menu and closes its pages. Nothing anybody wrote is deleted, and it is all back when you switch it on again. Trades that close in between still count in the figures, and a trader pulls them into the trade list with one button.

Not the trades on your platform. Every closed trade counts in the dashboard, the calendar and the reports by itself, and a trader who switches on auto capture also gets each one filed in the trade list as it closes. Only trades made on another platform are typed in or read from a screenshot.

No. It runs on your domain under your brand like the rest of the platform, in the trader's own language. Even the score is called the edge score, not after us.

No. They count in every journal screen and nowhere else: not in leaderboards, payouts, fraud checks, the risk engine, trading rules, the performance page or your admin.

A read comes out of the same AI allowance as the assistant, so it works while the assistant can be used. You set how many reads a trader gets per day, from 0 to 200, and 10 unless you change it. 0 switches reading off. Typing a trade in is never limited, and a read that fails on our side does not count.

No admin screen opens a trader's journal. Platform features shows how it is used: traders who wrote in it lately, trades in journals, traders with auto capture on, trades from other platforms and screenshots read.

When a trader asks it to and your assistant is on, yes. It reads their day plans, reviews, notes and playbook, and it can prepare a note on one of their trades as a card they confirm. It only ever adds to what they wrote.
