Trading terminal

A terminal every trader arranges.

A full trading terminal in the browser, with no download and no bridge. Every part of it is a module on a grid that fills the window, modules in one colour follow one market, and each trader keeps the layouts they trade from. You decide the screen they start on.

On a screen this narrow the grid gives way to four tabs, as it does for your traders. Arranging is for the desktop.

What the terminal does, one part at a time.

01

A grid that fills the window

The terminal is a grid of modules that always fills the screen and never scrolls. Each trader picks how fine it is, and the row height is measured from the window, so one layout on a laptop and on a large monitor is the same arrangement at a different size.

  • From 6 by 3 up to 24 by 12, the trader's choice
  • No scrollbar, and no leftover strip at the bottom
  • An empty cell stays empty: nothing floats up into a gap left on purpose
  • Modules that no longer fit a smaller grid are parked above it, not deleted

Room made while you drag

Edit layout turns the screen into something to arrange. A module moves by its title bar, so a chart keeps every pixel for its crosshair, and resizes from any side or corner. Hold it over another module for a second and that one makes room: pushed away from the edge you are on, or trading places when you are in the middle.

  • Eight handles to resize, never below the size a module needs
  • Four edges push, the middle swaps, and what is pushed into moves along
  • Against the edge of the grid, a module goes to the largest free place nearby
  • A part that cannot make room says so at once, and Escape cancels any drag

Fifteen modules in four groups

Everything on the screen comes from one list: trading, the market, the account and the rest. A trader puts on what they use and leaves off what they do not, with as many charts and tickets as they like.

  • Up to 40 modules on one layout
  • Account, challenge progress, rules and connection once each, since two would say the same thing
  • A depth ladder where the feed carries a book, crypto today, and a plain line where it does not
  • Market hours in the exchange's own timezone, with its holidays and half days

Colours that link modules

Every module that shows a market has a coloured dot in its title bar. Modules in the same colour follow the same market, so a chart, a ticket and a ladder in red move together when the trader picks a market in any of them, while a set in blue stays where it was.

  • Five colours, plus not linked for a module pinned to one market
  • Each colour's market saved on the account, so it is still there after a reload or on another computer
  • One market per colour, so switching layout leaves red where it was
  • A colour nobody uses any more lets go of its price stream

Trading straight from the chart

Each chart has its own tabs, and every tab keeps its market and timeframe and stays loaded, so flipping between six markets is instant. A right click at a price offers an order there: at market, or a limit or a stop, picked by which side of the price you clicked. Stops, targets, alerts and the price of an order still being written are lines to drag.

  • Fourteen timeframes, from one minute to one month
  • Timeframes the venue does not publish, built from the ones it does
  • Candles, bars, a line or an area, with volume and a log scale
  • Lines snap to the tick, and the order changes when you let go

Orders the way traders think

Size goes in lots, in money, or as a share of the largest order the account can open right now, worked out with the same leverage and limits the server checks. Take profit and stop loss sit behind one tick box, each as a price or as a share of the balance, an amount or ticks, with the other filled in as the trader types.

  • Market orders and four pending types: buy and sell limit, buy and sell stop
  • The market's own smallest size, so 0.001 BTC is an order
  • Close a quarter, half or three quarters early, at a price set in advance
  • The button says exactly what will be sent: side, size and price

What to trade, before how

The watchlist holds every market you offer, searchable by ticker or by company name, so Apple finds AAPL. The instrument panel shows where one market stands: the day range and the year range as bars with the price marked on them, and what your firm charges to trade it.

  • Filters for shares, ETFs, crypto, futures, forex and indices, each with a count
  • Largest markets first, or sorted by name or by the day's gainers and losers
  • Stars for favourites, and six weeks of closes as a line beside the price
  • A ticker of the twelve markets your traders opened most this week

The rules on the same screen

Three modules put the challenge beside the trading, as bars rather than numbers to work out. Progress shows the profit target in money, the trading days done and the days used. Rules shows each loss limit filling toward its line, with the exact equity the account fails at written underneath.

  • The profit target in money, not as a percentage
  • Trading days against the minimum, calendar days against the limit
  • Daily loss and drawdown on live equity, marked at three quarters and nine tenths
  • Balance, equity, open profit, margin and today's result in the account module

Layouts that follow the trader

An arrangement is saved on the server under a name, so it follows the trader from desk to laptop, and the terminal opens on the one they last had on screen. Your presets come first in their menu, locked, and their own layouts sit underneath, as many as they like.

  • Saved by itself a moment after the last change, with no save button
  • Your presets locked in every trader's menu, one of them the screen the terminal opens on
  • The markets, timeframes and notes inside a preset kept per trader
  • Make a copy to edit, then rename, duplicate, delete or star it

On a phone as well

Below 1024 pixels wide the grid gives way to four tabs: chart, trade, positions and account. They are the same modules the grid draws, on one market, so a trader away from the desk sees where they stand and can get out of a trade.

  • The market is the red group's, so a phone and a desktop open on the same one
  • Drag the price axis to stretch it, drag the chart to move through time
  • A tap puts the crosshair down, and a plus beside its price opens the order menu
  • Stops and targets are dragged by their label, so a swipe never moves a real stop

Questions

Questions about the terminal

No. The terminal is one page in the browser, on your own domain. There is no MetaTrader, no plugin and no bridge to install, and prices arrive over a live connection, with no refresh button.

The chart is built on Lightweight Charts, the open source chart library from TradingView. The tabs, the fourteen timeframes, trading from the chart and the lines for orders, stops and alerts are built by us on top of it.

Yes. Under Trading, Terminal presets, you arrange the screens they open on, on the same grid they use. Every preset is in every trader's layout menu, locked, and one of them is the screen the terminal opens on. A firm that never made one starts on ours, called Standard.

Not where the modules stand. The markets, timeframes, tabs and notes inside it are theirs and kept per trader. A trader who wants it arranged differently makes a copy, which is a layout of their own to change as they like.

Yes. Below 1024 pixels wide the terminal shows four tabs, chart, trade, positions and account, built from the same modules. Arranging, layouts and the other colour groups are for the desktop.

The same terminal, open to anyone without an account. Prices come straight from Binance into your browser, or from a simulation when Binance cannot be reached. Orders are switched off, and your arrangement stays in your own browser.
