Who becomes an affiliate

You pick the way in. Every trader can be an affiliate from the start, join with one click, or apply and wait for your decision. Your team can also add a trader by hand. Before you launch, your own website can reserve links for people through the API.

Links with a code of their own

An affiliate shares as many links as you allow, one per channel, so they see what each one brings in. Every link has its own code, its own landing page and its own discount. The default link is the one their overview and materials hand out.

  • A random code of eight characters without 0, O, 1, I or L, or one they type
  • A typed code is refused when it is a platform word, holds your name or a word you blocked
  • Landing on the sign-up page, the challenge list or one challenge
  • Pause, archive and restore, within a link limit you set

From click to referral

A click sets a cookie for the attribution window you choose, up to a year, and whoever signs up inside it is filed under that link for good. A newer click on another link replaces the older one. A link that cannot credit anyone still delivers the visitor, so nobody lands on an error.

  • An attribution window from 1 to 365 days, 30 by default
  • The newest click wins, and one trader is only ever referred once
  • A link to one challenge sends the new trader there after signing up
  • Self-referral blocked by default, matched on the account and the email address

Two discounts, two pockets

A referred trader can get two discounts on a first purchase without typing anything. Yours is a welcome discount you pay for. Theirs is part of the affiliate's commission passed on through the link, taken from what is left after yours. Commission is then paid on what the buyer actually paid.

  • Your discount as a percentage or an amount, minted at sign-up for that trader alone
  • A coupon the trader types replaces your welcome discount
  • Their share capped by your limit, and never more than the commission
  • A cap you lower later applies to links that already exist

The most specific rule pays

One sale is paid by the first rule that applies: a deal you made with that affiliate, then a rate for the challenge that was bought, then the volume tier they reached, then the program rule. Switch the rules on and off to see which one pays.

  • A percentage of what was paid, a fixed amount per sale, or per sign-up only
  • Up to 50 volume tiers, by buyers or by sales volume, the highest reached counts
  • A sign-up bonus on top, paid when a referred trader signs up
  • Repeat purchases pay only when you switch them on, for the program or a challenge

A hold, so refunds cost you nothing

Commission waits out the hold you set before it can be withdrawn. A refund in the meantime voids it. A refund after it was paid out writes a negative line, so the next payout comes out that much smaller.

  • A hold from 0 to 365 days, 14 by default, and one of their own per affiliate
  • Released by itself every hour once the hold has passed
  • Release a line early, or void one with a reason, from the affiliate's page
  • Every line says how it was worked out and which payout took it

A portal of their own

Affiliates get their own section in your trader app, in your branding. Their overview compares any period with the one before, and every link, referral, commission and payout is a list they can search. A notification arrives with every sale.

Upload a banner once and every affiliate downloads it with the QR code of their own link drawn in, at the spot and size you picked. They choose which link goes in, so what the banner brings in counts on that link.

  • PNG, JPG or WebP, per language or for every language

Affiliate payouts as a queue

An affiliate asks for everything available once it reaches your minimum. Your team works the queue oldest first, sees what to check before deciding, pays outside the platform and marks it paid. The affiliate is told at every step.

  • Approve, or reject with a reason the affiliate reads
  • Mark paid with a reference only your team sees
  • Rejecting or withdrawing an approval puts the commission back in their balance
  • Only lines that still stand are paid, a line a refund voided stays void

Questions about the affiliate program

The affiliate. It comes out of their own commission on that sale, so a link that shares 5% on a 20% commission earns 15% of what the buyer paid. Your welcome discount is separate and paid by you.

Commission still on hold or not yet paid is voided. Commission that was already paid out is taken back with a negative line, which makes the affiliate's next payout that much smaller.

Yes. The Deal tab on their page sets their own commission, whether their repeat purchases pay, their link limit, the largest discount they may share and their hold. Anything you leave alone follows the program.

Once their available commission reaches your minimum they request it, by bank transfer, crypto or PayPal. Your team approves the request, sends the money outside the platform and marks it paid.

Yes. Your website reserves a referral link for an email address through the pre-registration API, and the person gets a claim code by mail. After launch they claim it on their account and keep the link they were already sharing.

Links still open your sign-up page but credit nobody, purchases earn no commission and affiliates lose their pages until you switch it on again. Nothing is deleted.
