**Branding -> Trader menu** in your admin sidebar. It exists in the standard
design only. Propper - OG and Tactical keep the trader menu we ship, and a firm
on either that opens the address is sent to Designs.

Every trader of your firm gets a sidebar. This screen is where you decide what
it starts as. Our own version is the starting point, and what you save here
replaces it for every trader. A trader can then arrange their own on top of it,
unless you switch that off.

The editor is on the left and a drawing of the trader's sidebar is on the right.
The drawing follows every drag, rename and hidden screen as it happens, and a
switch above it shows the sidebar narrow, which is how a trader starts, or wide,
which each trader chooses for themselves.

## Arranging the menu

It works like the editor your own team uses for their sidebar. Drag a screen to
another heading or to another place in its heading, drag a heading to reorder
the headings, click a heading to rename it, and make headings of your own. Pin
a screen to put it above the headings. The bar at the foot of the list adds a
heading or puts the whole menu back to ours.

Every screen a trader of your firm can have is in the list, including the
affiliate screens, which a trader only gets once they are an active affiliate.
Screens for a feature you have switched off are not listed.

The eye on a screen takes it out of the menu for your traders, and the eye on a
heading takes the heading and everything under it out. Hiding is a choice about
the menu, not about access: a trader who knows the address, or follows a link
to it, still opens the screen.

Screens we add later land where we put them, under the same heading, without you
doing anything. A screen you moved stays where you put it.

## Letting traders arrange their own

The switch "Traders may customize their sidebar" controls the entry
"Customize sidebar" in every trader's account menu. While it is on, a trader
who arranges their own keeps that arrangement, and every trader who never did
follows your menu as you change it. A screen the trader never mentioned lands
where you put it, not where we put it, and a screen or heading you hid is gone
for them in the sidebar and in their editor alike.

Switched off, every trader sees exactly your menu and the entry is gone.
Arrangements traders made before are kept, not deleted, and come back if you
switch it on again.

## Apply to all traders

Traders who arranged their own sidebar do not follow your changes to the
screens they placed. "Apply to all traders" removes every trader's own
arrangement for your firm, after you confirm, so everybody sees your menu again.
They can arrange their own afterwards if the switch is on. It cannot be undone,
and it is not part of the save dock: it acts at once, on the menu as it is
saved, which is why the button waits while you have unsaved changes. Staff
using the trader view lose their trader arrangement with the rest. The sidebars
your team arranged in the admin panel are not touched.

## Under the drawing

A short list of what is worth a look: every screen hidden, the dashboard
hidden (it is where a trader lands after signing in), and how many traders
arranged their own while the switch is off.

Somebody who may only read gets no save dock, a disabled editor, and a line
saying why.

## In the older designs

Propper - OG and Tactical have no such screen. Their traders see the menu we
ship and cannot arrange it.
